Xan M. Ciupka, age 33 of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on March 5, 2021.
He was born in Adrian, Michigan on May 2, 1987 to his parents, Alexander and the late Angela Marie; He is the loving and devoted father of Malachi Ciupka and Amaya Ciupka. Xan’s love of his family was unmatched and he made them all feel so special. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his father, Alexander and his brother, Michael Ciupka; Grandmothers, Magdlena Ciupka and Sandra Rollins. He also leaves behind his Uncles and Aunts, Scott Tarach, Joe Tarach, Melanie Dahlberg, Günther Ciupka and Oliver (Filomena) Rollins and Gaby Ciupka.
Xan was someone that everybody close to him could count on. His family says, “he had a huge heart for everyone and protected everyone.” He was always willing to help anyone and made sure you knew he should be the first person to call if you ever needed anything.
He was a great baseball fan. His major league baseball hero was Ken Griffey, Jr. He also had a collection of Ken Griffey baseball shoes. He enjoyed the complexity of professional baseball and how the players can make it look so easy. At the same time, baseball was relaxing and enjoyable for him. A true baseball fan (or fan of any sport) is never bored watching the game. Xan loved the suspense because anything can happen at any time during a game of baseball.
