William R. Evans

William Royal Evans of Plymouth, died October 12, 2018. He was 83 years old. Bill was born in Detroit to Royal and Katherine (nee Welch) Evans on June 12, 1935. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Martha Evans, his two loving daughters Kathryn (Dave), and Bethany (David), his cherished grandchildren Tori, Nick, Mason, and Brady. Bill was preceded in death by his precious grandson Jake.

Bill spent his career as a teacher in the Livonia Public Schools. He enjoyed his family, cars, sports, traveling, and music.

A Memorial Mass will be Fri., Oct. 19th, 11 a.m. at St. Edith Catholic Church. The family will receive friends and family before the Mass at 10 a.m. in the vestibule. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bill’s memory may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, or Pediatric Brain Tumor Research at U of M.
