William M. (Bill) Clos (43) passed away on March 3, 2021, after a lengthy hospital stay due to problems from a surgical procedure. Bill is the loving father of Maria, William and David, and dear and loving friend of Sarah Stout Clos. He was the beloved son of Elizabeth Maki-Clos and Charles E. Clos of Plymouth, Michigan; best friend and brother to Andrew Clos (Melissa) of Spotsylvania, Virginia, and Thomas Clos (Melissa Smith) of Des Moines, Iowa; and loving uncle of Sophia, Ava and Lily Clos.
Bill was a graduate of Divine Child High School in Dearborn, Eastern Michigan University and Michigan State College of Law. At the time of his death, Bill was an attorney at Harvey Kruse, P.C., Troy, Michigan.
While Bill was a voracious reader with many diverse interests, first and foremost, he was a wonderful father whose favorite past time was spending time with his three beautiful children that he and Sarah were raising. While Bill will be deprived the great joy of nurturing and watching his children grow and mature, his children will greatly miss his presence in their lives. We know that Bill will take comfort in the knowledge that Sarah will ensure that their children grow to be responsible and successful adults and that his presence will always be a part of their life.
Bill and his older brother, Andrew, grew up together and were inseparable best friends. When they were in their early teens their brother, Tom, was born and despite the age difference they welcomed him into that special bond of brotherhood. As adults and living in different cities, the three of them still found time to bond as brothers, often meeting in different cities to attend a baseball, football or hockey game with their other best friend, Bill Jeffords.
As a son, words are incapable of expressing the love, joy and happiness Bill brought to our family. He was kind, sensitive, loving and always willing to make certain that his parents were doing okay. His daily calls to his mother, his unending concern for his dad, and his constant love for his entire family will leave a void in all of our lives that only God in his infinite love and mercy will be able to heal. We love you, Bill.
