William Frederick Strautz

William F. Strautz, age 81, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2010. He was born in Plymouth, Michigan on January 21, 1929 the son of William and Mabel P. (LaPearl) Strautz. He served in the United States Navy at the end of World War II and was employed by Action Distributors for 33 years retiring in 1989. He was a gentleman farmer and horseman owing several racing horses. His wife Joan passed away in 2002 and he is survived by his children, Mark (Brooke) Strautz, Randa (Tom) Williams, William (Beth) Strautz Jr., Penny (Ron) Selleck, Perry (Deborah) Strautz and Kelly (Suzanne) Strautz. His grandchildren, Shelley (Nate) Johns, Ryan Williams, Matt & Kenny Leroue, Joshua, Brandon and Allie Strautz along with two sisters also survive. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1pm until 8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth. Funeral services will be private.
