William Edward White, Jr., age 83 of Plymouth passed away on February 8, 2021. William was born on October 28, 1937 in Detroit to his parents, William E. and Betty (née Newbeck) White. He is the beloved and devoted husband of Joy (née Cooley) White; loving father of Dawn (Chuck) Dawe, Dana (Gary) Quesada and William White, III. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, Cheryl (Ted) Wasik and Richard White and many nieces and nephews. William is pre-deceased by his parents, his daughter, Darlene Anne Shippey, his brother, Lawrence White and two sisters, Karen Lewis and Gayle Badowsky.
William was employed as a skilled Carpenter in the construction industry. During his retirement years, he remained busy where he resided and became the Maintenance Specialist at Tonquish Creek Manor in Plymouth.
Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M followed by a Funeral Service at the Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 P.M. William will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan.
For those who cannot attend and wish to view the Funeral Service in a safe environment, the funeral will be live streamed.
