William Quarterman passed away at his home with his family beside him on July 26, 2012. William was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma on May 8, 1938 the son of the Right Reverend George and Ruth ( Spahr ) Quarterman. Bill worked for Ford Motor at World Headquarters for over 35 years in Human Resources retiring in 1997. Among his many interests were fishing, snowmobiling and showing off his 1966 Bronco. Another area of interest was geneology, being active in the Northville Genealogy Society, and with his church, St. John's Episcopal Church of Plymouth. On December 31, 1966 he married his sweetheart, Gilberta," Gilli " for short, and together they shared 45 years of married life raising two sons. William is survived by his wife and sons David and family Jennifer, Brynn and son Steven and family Suzanne and Elise. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Monday, July 30, 2012 from 3pm until 7pm. On Tuesday a Memorial Service will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church, 574 South Sheldon Road, Plymouth with Reverend Dorian McGlannan officiating.
