William E. Raymond passed away June 11, 2014 at the age of 83. He was born April 26, 1931 in Detroit to William James and Sarah (Lamb) Raymond. He is deeply loved and will be missed by his wife Honor, his children Sandy Muysenberg, Judy (Barry) Turner, Bev (Steve) Kraning and Sue (Paul) Snider, his grandchildren Chelsea, Kiley, Michael, Ally, Kelly, Jessie, Keith, Taylor and Matthew and his brother Thomas (Maggie) Raymond. William retired after 34 years of service as a deputy with the Wayne County Sheriff Department. His service was always about others and not himself. He was a very honest man that believed things were black and white with no grey. William graduated from Cooley High School in Detroit then served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of Newburg United Methodist Church in Livonia. He was an avid bee keeper and gardener. He also loved sports especially baseball, hockey and golf. Williams greatest joy, however, was his wife, "his girls" and his grandchildren. A Funeral Service will take place Tuesday, June 17, 2014, 11am at Newburg United Methodist Church, 36500 Ann Arbor Trail, Livonia. Friends may visit at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S.
