William A. Slyfield

William A. Slyfield of South Lyon, died February 27, 2018, at the age of 87. He was born in
South Lyon, to George and Elsie Slyfield on March 11, 1930. Willie is survived by his loving
children, Eric (Cheryl) Slyfield, Barb (Bob) Bunge, Bill (Dody) Slyfield and James Slyfield; his
precious grandchildren, Gary, Tiffany, Kevin, and Christopher; his cherished great grandchildren, Connor, Hannah, Olivia, Damien, and Nevaeh; his dear sister, Lucille Rohde; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Irene.

Willie worked for 32 years for Ford Motor Company. When he wasn’t working, Willie enjoyed
gardening, animals, country music, and going to German Park. He was a very sweet man who was always very social.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 1, from 11:30-1:30pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, 48170. His Funeral Service will begin immediately following visitation at 1:30pm. After his service, Willie will be interred at Lapham Cemetery.
