Virginia Gale Karker

Passed away at Angela Hospice in Livonia on October 19, 2013 at the age of 72. Virginia was born in Obion County, TN on March 29, 1941 the daughter of Dewey and Katherine ( Jennings ) Burpo. She worked for the Fish and Wildlife agency of the Federal government for a number of years retiring in 1994. Gale loved to bowl and travel all over the country to friends and family's homes. She is survived by hers and her late husband George's children , Georgina ( Dennis ) Furton, James ( Sharon ) Karker, Casey Karker and Charles Karker. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Taylor, Shelbie, Dylan, Brady, Maddie and Shawna and her siblings Dewey ( Beverly ) Burpo, Barbara ( John ) Campbell, Sheila Bias and the late William Michael Burpo. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Tuesday from 2 pm until 9 pm. Funeral services will be conducted by Deacon Phil Ludwig at 7 pm. Contributions are suggested to the charity of your choice.
