Verna V. Bailey

Verna V. Bailey of Westland passed away on January 3, 2017 at the age of 89. Verna was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 1, 1927 to her parents, William and Virginia (nee Ravell) Eisenbach. Verna is the beloved wife of Joseph Bailey. Both Verna and Joseph had shared a very close friendship for many years and were married in 2001.

Verna was a long-time Michigan Bell employee. She was employed as a Publicist. She was devoted to her job and cherished her position with Michigan Bell.
She loved to travel, read and had loved her beloved cat, “Star”.

Verna is survived by her loving nieces and nephews, Jean (Ray) Ryan and Loranne Moore, Tim (Beth) Bailey and Norman (Anne) McGarry.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Saturday, January 7th from 10am to 2pm.

A funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, January 7th at 2pm and will be officiated by the Reverend Dr. John Grenfell, III.
Verna will be laid to rest at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
