Uldine Yvonne Frakes

Uldine Yvonne Frakes, beloved mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 17th, 2023, at her residence in Ann Arbor, Michigan, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on January 10th, 1931, in Rocanville, Saskatchewan Canada to her late parents, Russell and Nellie Moffatt. 

Uldine (known as Al by friends and family and as Gabbie by her grandchildren) was a high school and business school graduate who dedicated her life to creating a loving home for her family. Uldine brought immense joy into the lives of her family and was quick to laugh. Uldine was predeceased by her late husband, Phillip E. Frakes. She is survived by their children Kelly Frakes, Jim (Lori) Frakes, and Clint Frakes. Her grandchildren Angie Cosme, Jamie Weiland, Jacob Hretz, Matthew Hretz, Audrey Hretz, Quanah Frakes, and Dawson Frakes brought immense joy into her life.

Uldine Yvonne Frakes will be greatly missed, and her absence will be felt by all those who knew her. Her memory will live on with those who loved her.
