Timothy C. Yoe, age 73, passed away June 6, 2014 surrounded by family at his home in Plymouth, MI. He was born on August 1st, 1940 at the Plymouth Hospital in Michigan. Tim is survived by his loving wife Marilyn of 52 years. Father of the late Timothy Jr., Jeanne (Don) Licht, Randall (Pam) Yoe, Doris (Bill) Schneider, and Amy (Kevin) Gibson. Dear Grandfather (Papa) of Carrie, William, Randy Jr., Elizabeth, Chelsea, Allison, Jillian, Alysha, Mallory, Kevin Jr., Zachary, and Jeannette. Brother of Claude Yoe, and survived by numerous other relatives. Tim was a graduate of Cleary College with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He was a CPA for over forty years, and was a member of both the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Tim was a strong supporter of his community, was an active member of various Kiwanis service organizations and, given the honor of receiving the following awards: Distinguished Kiwanian, George F. Hixon Award for Kiwanis service, and Kiwanis International Tablet of Honor. He also participated in several charities and served on several board of director’s - some of which included the St. Francis Home for Boys, Sisters of St. Joseph, Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Casa Richard School, Plymouth Fall Festival, and Plymouth Council Credit Union. His hobbies included stamp, coin, and owl figurine collecting and he enjoyed fishing. He will be fondly loved and remembered by many for his contributions and actions throughout his life. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, June 10th, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial, Plymouth. Friends may visit Monday, June 9th, 2pm until 8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main Street, Plymouth and Tuesday at church beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. There will be a Scripture Service Monday 7 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Plymouth Kiwanis Foundation, 6622 Kennesaw Road, Canton, MI 48187. Burial immediately following the Funeral Mass at Riverside Cemetery, Plymouth.
