Timarie Lee Freeman

October 29, 1957 — December 10, 2014

Timarie Lee Freeman passed away at her home with her loving family surrounding her on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the age of 56. Timarie was born in Deckerville, Michigan the daughter of William L. and Nancy J. ( nee Richardson ) Ellis. She attended the Belleville Schools and graduated from Michigan State University in 1979. While at State she was involved with her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. She was employed in medical sales training working for various medical supply companies including Lever Brothers in Fort Wayne, IN., American Hospital Supply in Madison, WI, Johnson and Johnson in Atlanta, GA and Gaymar Medical of Plymouth and finally with Stryker Medical. She met her husband to be, James D. Freeman, at Michigan State and they married on May 25, 1984. Timarie loved to travel, seeing the world was a goal. She enjoyed many places but Walt Disney World was a star. She also enjoyed shopping and puzzles but her faith and her service to her church, the First United Methodist Church of Plymouth were always foremost to her. She taught for years as a Sunday school teacher and served on many committees, to many to mention. After her diagnosis of cancer she spent time as a speaker talking about cancer for groups including Inspire and for the University of Michigan Cancer Support group. Timarie is survived by her beloved husband James and their daughter Tierney, and her husband Thomas and their son Kyle. Also surviving are her brother Mark Ellis and his wife Katherine. She was preceded in death by her sister Julie Ellis. A memorial gathering will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Plymouth, 45201 North Territorial, Plymouth on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 6 pm until 8 pm. A memorial service will be held at the church on Saturday at 11 am with visitation beginning at 10 am
