Thomas Sammut

Thomas Sammut, age 86 of Livonia, passed away on August 10, 2015. Loving husband of Rafela of 60 years. Beloved father of Michael (Elizabeth) Sammut, Joseph (Elizabeth) Sammut and Marilyn Sammut. Proud grandfather of Christina (Edward) Hanlon, Thomas, Kimberly, David and Jessie Sammut. Great grandfather of Caroline Hanlon. Mr. Sammut was born and raised in Malta and moved to the United States with his beloved wife, Rafela to start a new life. Proudly served in the United States Army from 1951-1959. Thomas would retire from Consumers Energy after several decades of service. Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home at 280 South Main St, Plymouth on Thursday, August 13th beginning at 6:00pm-9:00pm with a funeral service at 7:00pm. Mr. Sammut will be buried privately and receive full military honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly on Monday, August 17th.
