Thomas Eugene Mitton

Thomas Eugene Mitton of Commerce, passed on to meet his Holy Father on February 19, 2018, at the age of 68. Tom was the third son of Francis (Eddie) and Luella M. Mitton, who precede him in death. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Rebecca (Becky) Mitton; his oldest brother, Marty; numerous nieces and nephews, including Kim (Mike), Scott, Bill (Kelly); his great nieces and nephews, Shaun (Colleen), Nicole, and Ashley; his great great nephew, Dean; and two great great nieces, Samantha and Joanna. In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his brother, John, who passed away in 2008.



Tom was a kind and gentle man who showed great love and generosity for his entire family. Tom always enjoyed his trips up north to Boyne City and Lake Charlevoix.



Visitation will be Friday, February 23, from 4-6pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, 48170. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Tom’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
