Thomas E. Hoffman

Thomas E. Hoffman, age 68 of Canton passed away on February 11, 2013. Born in Detroit on August 19, 1944 to the late Rex & Helga Hoffman. Survived by his brother Jeff Hoffman. Graduated from Plymouth High School in 1962 and later from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Thomas suffered from Bipolar Disorder for most of his adult life,in spite of that in the 1970’s he moved to San Diego, Ca to work in Real Estate and eventually moving back to Michigan in the 1980’s to work as a Bank Teller and Accountant. He spent the last 10 years of his life at Crystal Creek Assisted Living in Canton. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 4:00pm from the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth. Visitation Wednesday from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Alpena.
