Theresa Lin Woodward

Theresa Lin Woodward, age 66 of Canton, Michigan passed away on November 2, 2022.

She was born on October 1, 1956 in Huntington, West Virginia to her parents, Robert and Linda (née McCoy) Smith.  The oldest of eight children, she was a great help to her parents and younger siblings.  Prior to her death, Terri worked in retail finance for many years until becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse.  She took excellent care of her patients and became friends with many of them.

Terri loved to travel.  Her favorite destinations were Florida and Montana.  She had a deep Christian faith, a loving and kind spirit and never had an unkind word to say about anyone.  Theresa will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her father, Robert Smith, her Aunt Margaret, and her siblings, Robert H. Smith, Jr., Stephen Smith, Paul Smith, Matthew Smith, Catherine Smith and Ericka (Joseph) Miller; She is the loving and devoted mother of Rachel (Jason) Long; proud grandmother of Grace Long, Gabriel Long, and Maverick Long.  She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her nieces Sarah (Samuel) Kodis, Kathleen Miller and nephew, Jack (Emily) Miller and great-nephew, Charlie Kodis.

Theresa was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Smith, her sister, Lisa Smith and special friend, Maurice Torres.
