Theresa Mary Olschanski

Passed away at the American House in Livonia on Monday, March 26, 2012 with her family beside her, age 80. Theresa was born in Detroit on May 25, 1931, the daughter of Floyd D. and Helen ( Elm ) Cavill. In 1950 she married Richard Olschanski and since then her life has been devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She lost her husband in 2001. She is survived by her nine children, Cathy ( Jim ) Hwozdik, Dan ( Deborah ) Olschanski, Debra ( David ) Urquhart, Ed ( Mary Jo ) Olschanski, Richard Olschanski, Paula Waite, Barbara ( Mike ) Lawnichak, Paul ( Margaret ) Olschanski and Michael Olschanski. She also leaves 25 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren. 1 brother, 1 brother-law and 1 sister-in-law. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Thursday from 2pm - 9pm. Visitation will continue on Friday from 10 am until time of the funeral mass at 10:30am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Raod ( at Beck Road ) Plymouth. Interment will occur at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
