Theresa Gail Dykes

Theresa Gail Dykes of Plymouth, died April 29, 2018 at the age of 57. She was born in Trenton, Michigan to Stancil and Alwanda Barton. Theresa is the beloved wife of Ronald Dykes for 40 years. She is survived by her loving children Wendy Leo, Amber Gausden, and Justin (Kayla) Dykes, her precious grandchildren Connor, Kiley, Brennen, Noah, and Peyton, and her dear siblings Garry, Jerry, Stancil Jr., Deanna, and Craig. Theresa was preceded in death by both of her parents.

Theresa was a social butterfly with a boisterous laugh that could be heard from across the room. She welcomed everyone she met into her life and she was a mother to everyone. Theresa was a fearless, free spirited, and joyful woman who was known to give the best hugs. She was a strong woman who never complained in life and whose love for her family was above all else. She was a beloved woman who will be deeply missed by many.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 2, from 1-8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan 48170. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, May 3, at 12 noon at Victorious Life Church of God, 860 E. Clark Road, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48198. Family and friends may begin visiting the Church at 11am. Flowers and memorial donations will be accepted by the family in Theresa’s memory.
