Thelma Lillian Tucker, age 87, passed peacefully on Friday, July 27, 2012 with her children by her side. She was born March 14, 1925 in Tellico Plains, TN the daughter of Carlton and Mary Blanche Huskey. In November, 1942 she married Ralph Tucker in Dalton, GA. The two moved to Detroit shortly after. She was employed by GM's Fisher Body Division for 30 years, retiring in 1981. She is survived by her children Ralph " Tom " (Carolyn) Tucker, Barbara (Dennis) Liske, Sandra (Dennis) Sweet and Lori Tucker-Sullivan. Survivors also include eight grandchildren; Jeffrey (Kelly) Tucker, Melissa (Jon) Williams, Angela (Chad) Edgar, Amanda (Slade) Ryan, Rebecca Liske, Lauren Liske, Austin Sullivan and Madeleine Sullivan. Three great-grandchildren; Hannah, and Meagan Tucker and Tade Williams, along with brother-in-law James (Sharyn) Tucker, sisters-in-law Mary Bailey, Grace Tabor and Lila Ramey and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Ralph, her brother Carlton Jr., her sister Vivian Stapp and her son-in-law Kevin Sullivan. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 30th from 3pm until 9pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth where funeral services will be held on Tuesday 10am.
