Tessa Irene Roy

Tessa Irene Roy passed away July 24, 2014 at the age of 95. She was born August 6, 1918 in Plymouth where she lived her entire life. Tessa was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ralph in 1990, her mother Nettie Kincade Featherstone and her son Dennis Roy. She is survived by her loving grandson Dwayne and his wife Janet Roy, great grandchildren Michael Roy, Mitchel Trowbridge, Cory (Daniele) Roy, Jesse Tiilikka and Cody Roy, great great grandchildren Irena and Elba. She was the last of 5 siblings. Tessa was a homemaker as her greatest love was that of her family. She loved to bowl until her health would not allow. She loved football and always followed the Detroit Lions, win or lose. She knew all of the players names and which teams were good and which were not. A Funeral Service will take place Monday 1pm, July 28, 2014, at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth. Friends may visit Monday beginning at 11am until time of service. Tessa will then be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Ralph at Oakland Hills Cemetery, Novi. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Foundation of America alzfdn.org
