Terry "Mike" French, a dedicated and long-time employee of NAPA Auto Parts Store on Starkweather Street in Plymouth, Michigan, passed away on June 29, 2024, in Superior Township. He was born on May 21, 1950, in Chanute, Kansas to the late James and Lois French.
Throughout his life, Mike touched the hearts of many with his hard work and unwavering commitment to his career at NAPA. His colleagues remember him as a reliable and kind-hearted individual who always went above and beyond to help others.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Johanna. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Robert (Meredith) Shriver and Timothy (Mandy) Shriver, along with nine grandchildren: Noah Shriver, Gracie Shriver, Camren Stewart, Marilyn Shriver, Emerson Shriver, Angus Shriver, Ava Shriver, Cole Shriver, and Olivia Nolan. Additionally, he leaves behind one great-grandchild, Nora.
In addition to his immediate family, Mike is survived by his two sisters: Pam (Joe) Hill and Diane (Tom) Norton. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and special friend Rennie Hughes who will cherish his memory.
Mike will be deeply missed by his close friend Dr. Robert and M.J. Potter and their family, with whom he shared many cherished moments.
During this time of loss, let us remember Terry "Mike" French for his dedication to both his work and his loved ones. May he rest in peace knowing that he was truly loved and will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
