Susan Zahn

Susan (Allsteadt) Zahn June 15, 1947 – October 2, 2015 Susan passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2 at the age of 68. She is survived by her loving husband Carl of 48 years; her children Brian (Kelly) Zahn and Elaine (Jeff) Brown; 6 grandchildren: Roger, Kathleen, Carl, Ryan, Alex, and Sophie. She is also survived by her brothers Jerry (Patricia) Allsteadt and Patrick (Kathy) Allsteadt. She was preceded in death by her brother Tom Allsteadt. Susan graduated from St. Mary’s of Redford in 1965. She attended Madonna University in the 1990s and achieved her B.A. in Sociology in 1993. She worked for The Mayflower Hotel in Plymouth and Kelly Services in Troy until she retired in 2003. A funeral Mass will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church at 44800 Warren Rd. in Canton on Saturday, October 10 at 10:00AM.
