Susan Ann Young, age 73 of Plymouth, passed away on August 10, 2020. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to Wilfred and Mary Spicer on November 20, 1946. Susan is survived by her children Anna (Steve) Falkiewicz and Robert Young; grandchildren Grace, Ethan, Paige and Morgan. Susan is also the loving aunt to Julie, Pattie, Marjie, Kathy, Pat, Teri, Michael and Dan. She was preceded in death by her late husband Charles M. Young and her brother David Spicer.
Sue will forever be remembered as a positive woman with an incredibly kind, compassionate, and non-judgmental soul. Although her body may have been weakened by MS, her spirit was not. She was a woman of great strength that taught all those around her about the importance of positivity, overcoming adversity, and appreciation for all that you have. She will be greatly missed, but is no longer suffering and is at peace.
Family will receive guests for a memorial gathering on Saturday August 22, 2020 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a memorial service at 1:00 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main St. Plymouth, MI 48170. In view of the current COVID-19 situation, the Visitation and Funeral Service must be kept to a maximum of ten (10) people only at a time. Please refrain from handshaking and embracing family members and one another. the Funeral Service will be live streamed for those who cannot attend and wish to view the service in a safe environment.
In lieu of flowers those who wish to honor Susan may make a contribution to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Michigan Chapter.
Please be advised that in observance of the governmental order from the State of Michigan because of the current COVID-19 situation, when in attendance at the visitation and funeral service, we kindly ask for the safety and well-being of the families we serve and for your health, that everyone practice social distancing and consideration for other guests in attendance.
