Steven Alan Jones

Steven A. Jones passed away peacefully on March 4, 2015 his home in Livonia, Michigan. Steve was born on July 8, 1968 in Livonia and graduated from Brighton High School in 1986. He is the son of Mel C. and the late Elaine M. ( nee McIntyre ) Jones and stepson of Diane Jones, who together with Mel raised him since he was a young boy. Steve is survived by his loving family, his beloved daughter Jessica and father Mel. Also surviving are his siblings Dr. Sherry Dustman and Michael Jones. Steve also leaves behind his niece and nephews, Melinda, Jake, Luke and Caden. Steve was beyond excited to become a grandpa to his daughter Jessica's first child due later this year. Though Steve was not able to meet his grandchild, he will surely be there in spirit. Steve was one of a kind. He developed many friendships over the years working as a skilled machinist in the field of tool and dye. When he wasn't working he was busy enjoying life to the fullest. He enjoyed traveling abroad with his best friend from grade school, Doug Stebbins. He was also passionate about riding his precious Harley Davidson and making memories of a lifetime. Steve will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 3 pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 5 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth
