Stephen A. Juhasz

Stephen Anthony Juhasz, age 80 of Canton passed away on July 2, 2019.

Stephen was born on September 21, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to his parents, Alexander and Margaret ( Urbanek) Juhasz. He is the beloved husband of the late Sylvia Vitale Juhasz who passed away in June 2018; devoted father of Dana Juhasz, Sherri Petro and Stephen (Jennifer) Juhasz; proud grandfather of Nicolo Anthony Juhasz, Rhea Savoria Petro, Lina Marie Petro, Vincent Juhasz and Savoia Juhasz and great-grandfather of Adrianna Maria Petro and Joshua Brock. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his brothers and sisters, Mike (Patricia) Juhasz, Don Juhasz, Terry (Linna) Juhasz and Joyce (Paul) Woodward.

Stephen enjoyed playing golf and was a die-hard Detroit Tigers baseball fan. During the season, he loved watching the Tiger baseball games on T.V. He never took off his baseball cap!

Whether it was a boat, a motorcycle, snowmobile or horseback riding Stephen loved them all. He enjoyed the excitement of the speed of a boat over the water. All of these activities were a source of fun and excitement with his family. He loved throwing parties and entertaining his friends. Halloween parties were the best! Above all of these things, family was most important to Stephen. He cherished his family and was overjoyed when grandchildren and great-grandchildren were born and continued to make his family grow.

Stephen is deeply loved, and will be greatly missed by all whose life was touched by him.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 8th at 12:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Scapular, 976 Pope John Paul II Ave. Wyandotte. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. until time of the mass.
