Stacie May

Stacie May passed away April 16, 2023. Stacie was born October 1, 1952 to her late parents, William and Eileen Smith in Ann Arbor. She is preceded in death by her husband John “Jack” May. They were loving parents of two children, John (Angie) May and Kelli Batianis. She was a loving grandma to four grandchildren - Elizabeth Batianis, Caroline Batianis, Madison May, and Ashlyn May. Stacie is survived by her siblings Bonnie (Edward) Wagman and Laurie (Tom) Wooderson and was deeply loved by her best friends - Carol, Peggy, Robin and the late Donna.  She is deeply missed by many and was loved by everyone who met her.

Stacie was a devout Catholic and dedicated to her faith. She was completely selfless, humble, extremely generous, and lived by the golden rule of treating all persons with kindness.

Stacie deeply loved her family and in the past 20+ years, her grandchildren were the center of her life! She was a passionate sports fan and seeing the Detroit Tigers and MSU Spartans win was always a highlight.

Over the past 10+ years, Stacie had a great life in Plymouth. The key to that was her job at Piazza Dance Studio in Northville where she was treated like family and adored by the students, parents, and staff.
