Shirley M. Depew

Shirley M. Depew passed away in Plymouth, MI on December 15, 2023 at age 95. She was born on April 2, 1928, in Plymouth, Michigan to her parents Thomas and Thelma Bower. Shirley leaves behind a legacy of love and boundless memories.

Shirley's life was enriched by the love she shared with her late husband Clifford Depew of 49 years.
She was an exceptional mom to her children Gary (Barb) Depew and Susan (Terry) Gronau. Shirely embodied the epitome of what it means to be family-oriented. She dedicated herself entirely to creating a loving and caring home for her family.

Shirley is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Laura Edwards and Lisa Depew. She was blessed with great grandchildren Macy Marek, Olivia Edwards, and Samuel Edwards. They all hold a special place in Shirley's heart, bringing immense joy into her life.

Beyond being an exemplary wife, mother and grandma, Shirley possessed a vibrant personality that endeared her to everyone she met. A true lover of Plymouth, she found joy in simply strolling through the town's streets and indulging in the delightful treasures that its stores had to offer. It was in these simple moments that she found happiness.

Shirley leaves behind her loving 91-year-old sister Virgina Fallot and many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed.

Shirley was a woman who embodied love, nurturance, and devotion. Her warmth and selflessness were a testament to her character and the profound impact she had on her family's lives. May she rest in peace.
