Sharon Lynn Hale, age 75 of Plymouth, passed away on May 24, 2014. Loving wife of the late Ulysses. Beloved mother of Bruce (Fiancée Kim) Coutts, Brian Coutts, Heather Elizabeth Babstock, Omar (Martinique Gates) Williams and Season Williams. Proud grandmother of Buddy Coutts Maurer, India Rose Johnson, Jacob Williams, Malakai Anderson and Marleigh Gates. Dear sister of Harry R. Lewis. She was a legal secretary for Butzel Long, when she retired from Butzel Long she began working as an activities director and assistant for Angel Gardens Assisted Living in Livonia. She has a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Eastern University which she receive at the age of 71. She has a Masters Degree in Hospice which she received last year at the age of 74 from Madonna University. She completed her Masters thesis on implementing hospice care in Michigan prisons. She was a pioneer for the development of this type of care for Michigan prisoners and was working with Michigan legislature to help with the creation of this program. She was had 1 year left to complete, in her second Masters degree program in Pastoral Care from Madonna University at the age of 75. She also volunteered with the Northridge Church prison ministry in Plymouth and with Angela Hospice Care Center in Livonia. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 1:00-9:00pm . A funeral service will be held at Northridge Church 49555 North Territorial Rd, Plymouth on Saturday, May 31,2014 at 11:00am. Memorials may be made to the family.
