Shantaben Patel, beloved wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, surrounded by her cherished family. 

She was born in Bhatsar, India, where her journey of love and family began. Shantaben was the devoted wife of Ishvarlal Patel, sharing an extraordinary 63 years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love, strength, and shared purpose. She was the proud daughter of Joytaram and Jackiben, sister of Chunilal and Jeviben, loving mother of Piyush (Nilam), Jyoti (Dan), and Jay, and the adored grandmother of Deven, Kierin, Kai, Maya, Amira, and Kaveh. 

Her family was her greatest joy, and she found endless fulfillment in their achievements and happiness. Shantaben’s warmth, wisdom, and generosity defined her character. She had a special gift for bringing people together, always offering support and kindness to those around her. Her legacy of love and strength will remain a guiding light for her family and all who knew her. 

Visitation will be held at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home in Plymouth, Michigan, on Thursday, December 5, 2025 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. 

Shantaben Patel’s life was a testament to the beauty of family, compassion, and resilience. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will forever remain a source of inspiration and comfort to those she loved.
