Shailendrra Guptaa

Shailendrra Gupta, a dedicated IT Manager in the automotive industry, passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on August 18, 1960, in New Delhi, India, Shailendrra was known for his unwavering commitment to his career and his family.

Throughout his life, Shailendrra exhibited a passion for technology, earning a bachelor's degree in technology, which laid the foundation for his successful career in the automotive sector. He was a devoted worker who took pride in his contributions to the industry, inspiring many through his work ethic and professional integrity. 

Beyond his professional achievements, Shailendrra nurtured a rich personal life filled with love for his family and a deep affection for pets. He cherished the companionship of his beloved pets, Matea and Ginger, who brought joy and warmth to his home.

He dedicated his life to the enrichment of the lives around him. He moved the family to the United States to give his children the best opportunity possible. He would send money to friends and families in need. He would spend time helping people with their IT problems. He did everything he could for those around him. 

Shailendrra leaves behind his loving wife, Renu Gupta, and two devoted sons, Ateev and Ankit, along with Ankit’s wife, Ankita. Together, they remember him not only as a father and husband but as a guiding light in their lives, who encouraged them to pursue their passions and remain true to their values.

In addition to family and work, Shailendrra enjoyed photography and road-tripping, capturing moments and creating memories that would last a lifetime. His adventurous spirit and love for exploration were evident in the narratives shared through his photographs, which stand as a testament to his vibrant soul.

Shailendrra's departure is deeply felt by his family and friends, who honor his memory and legacy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shridutt and Rita Gupta, who nurtured his early aspirations and values.

Visitation will be held on December 21, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home in Plymouth, MI, followed by a funeral service from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM. All who knew him are invited to come together to celebrate his life and share in remembrance of a man who devoted himself to his work and family wholeheartedly.
