Shaaron Bawden, age 80 of Belleville, Michigan passed away on March 7, 2022. She was born on June 12, 1941 in Ypsilanti, Michigan and lived her childhood and younger years in Plymouth, Michigan.
Shaaron is the loving and devoted mother of Christopher Flum and proud grandmother of Brendan Flum. She is deeply adored and loved and will be greatly missed by her siblings, Vicki Schenkel, Tim (Cindy) Donovan and Mary Jane (Michael) Gregory as well as many nieces and nephews, and her best friend, Debby Kopsolias. She is pre-deceased by her mother, Joyce Patrick who passed away on December 15, 2020.
Anyone who knows Shaaron, also knows of her great passion and love of all animals – but especially horses and dogs. Shaaron grew up on a horse farm in Ypsilanti and was always in their presence; in her elder years in her Belleville countryside home, where the neighbor boarded horses, she simply enjoyed to sit on the back porch and watch the horses in the back pasture grazing and frolicking around.
She had dogs and cats her entire life. Everyone knows that dogs have been human’s best friends for thousands of years. Shaaron knew this and also knew that they are there for us through thick and thin. They never judge and are always happy to see us return to them, whether we’ve been gone five hours or five minutes. Shaaron could tell you about their unconditional love and believed that dogs are the only creatures on this earth that love you more than they love themselves. She delighted in seeing their wagging tails, body wiggles and “happy dance” occurring just at the sight of seeing and being in her presence.
