Sarojini Srivastava

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, a pillar of strength and an embodiment of love, faith and selflessness.  She left this earthly realm on June 30, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones, leaving behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.    

Sarojini was a devout follower of the Hindu faith and lived her life in accordance with its teachings. She had a heart overflowing with love, and she extended it generously to her family, friends, and even strangers who crossed her path.  She had a unique ability to make everyone feel seen, heard, and loved, offering a compassionate ear and sage advice to those who sought her counsel. 

One of her greatest virtues was selflessness.  She lived her life with a genuine concern for others, always placing their needs above her own. Her acts of kindness and charity were boundless, and she touched the lives of countless people.  

As we bid farewell, let us remember her for the profound impact she had on our lives.  Her legacy of love, faith, and selflessness will continue to inspire and guide us as we navigate this world without her physical presence.  Let us honor her memory by embracing the values she held dear and continuing her tradition of spreading kindness and compassion.  

In our grief, we find solace knowing that our mom and grandmother has returned to the divine embrace she cherished throughout her life.  We take comfort in the belief that her soul has found eternal peace and she will forever be our guardian angel, watching over us with the same love and care that defined her time on earth.  Though we mourn her loss, we also rejoice in the privilege of having shared our lives with such a remarkable soul.  She was small but mighty.  May her light continue to shine with us and guide us towards a life of love, service and devotion. 

Rest in eternal peace.  You will forever remain in our hearts.  Om Shanti.
