Sandra Kosky of Plymouth, died February 5, 2020. She was 82 years old. Sandy was born in Taylor, Michigan on her family’s farm. Sandy was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Kosky, who died in 1998. Sandy is survived by her step-sons Joseph (Judy) Kosky, and Kenneth (Tammie) Kosky, grandchildren Kristy (James) Horvath, Keri Kosky, Joseph (Stacy Faitel) Kosky, Staci (Karl) Oswald, Sandy (John) Gazdecki, and Kenneth (Selby) Kosky, great-grandchildren Sophia, Kaiser, Jaxson, and Ari, sister-in-law Jeannette Hielscher, nieces and nephews Cynthia Erickson, Laurence (Jackie) Lumley, Jeffrey (Debra) Lumley, Tracy Lumley, and John Hielscher, and her great nieces and nephews Matthew Erickson, Erika Erickson, Natalie Erickson, and Stephanie Lumley. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Vena Lee (nee Greer) Hielscher, and her siblings Alvin Hielscher, Ada Lee Pearson, Dorothy May Lumley, and Mary Hielscher.
Sandy was a very caring person who enjoyed art and music. She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church in Plymouth. Sandy was very active in the choir and other activities. She loved to spend time with her family and will be greatly missed.
Visitation Saturday, February 15, from 3-8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, MI 48170. Her Funeral Service will be Sunday, February 16, at 2pm at the First United Church, 45201 N. Territorial Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170. Family and friends may begin visiting the Church at 1:30pm.
