Sandra Suzanne Fogarty-Tyree

Sandra Suzanne Fogarty-Tyree, 77, of Flatrock, MI, passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones and her fur-baby Ducky on December 3, 2024. Born April 3, 1947, in Dearborn Heights, MI to Edward and Cozzette Welcer, Sue graduated from Riverside High School class of 1965. She worked in the health care industry in several facets over the years, ultimately owning her own hearing aid business before retiring. Sue’s favorite holiday was Christmas, and she spent her last few days at home enjoying the decorations put up by Anthony and Kassie. She was passionate about vintage cars, attending many shows and cruising Woodward and Telegraph events over the years.

Sue is survived by her husband Roger Tyree, brother Timothy Welcer, children Cynthia Wharton (Paul), Robert Dragg, Beth Amber Wimpy, and stepchildren Paul Fogarty (Rob), Mark Fogarty (Jackie), Stanley Tyree, and Kenny Tyree. Also, 9 grandchildren, James Bailey, Thomas Caswell (Brittany), Scott Caswell, Kyle Fogarty, Rachel Rose (Tim), Dylan Sinnott, Anthony Dragg (Ana), Kassie Dragg, Corbin Wimpy, 5 great-grandchildren, Sullivan Caswell, Kaylin Bailey, Nathanael Caswell, Ella Caswell, Bria Bailey, several nieces, nephews, and a whole lot of cousins! Sue is preceded in death by her late husband Don Fogarty, parents, Edward and Cozzette Welcer, brothers William Casey, Bobby Casey, Anthony Welcer, and niece Ellen Thompson Casey.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Friday, December 13, 2024. Funeral service and graveside service will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
