Samuel Ellis Barnes, Jr. age 84 of Canton, passed away on December 24, 2020 at the Angela Hospice Care Center. Born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 15, 1936. Beloved husband of 62 years to Anita (Nix). Loving father of John (Glorea) Barnes. Step Grandfather of Jerome Marinko. Dear brother of John Barnes.

Mr. Barnes will be buried at Higginsville City Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri. A private family service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, Plymouth.
