Sally Schlotz, age 90 of Plymouth, passed away on April 5, 2021. She was born on July 8, 1930 in Danville, Illinois to her parents, the late Hervie A. and Mae (née McCoy) Vertrees. She is the beloved and devoted wife of Tom Schlotz. They have been married for 68 years. Sally is the loving mother of Lynn, Steve (Denise), Jim (Kathy) and Lisa (Mike); proud grandmother of Michael, Cherilyn, Aaron Magewick, Bee, Anna, Tristan, Abra, Jared Kohn, Kevin Kohn, Christopher, Casey and six great-grandchildren.
Sally grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated from Howe High School. After High School, she attended Butler University at Indianapolis where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree. She was an active member of P.E.O., a philanthropic organization where women celebrate the advancement of women. She loved the arts, going to museums and was an avid reader. She was a member of the O.L.G.C. Bridge Club. Sally is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose life was touched by her.
Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 P.M. to be officiated by the Reverend Fr. Thomas Belczak.
For those who cannot attend and wish to view the Funeral Service in a safe environment, the funeral service will be live streamed.
