Ruth B. Silver, age 95 of Livonia passed away on May 1, 2019.
Ruth was born October 7, 1923 in St. Clair Township, Michigan to her parents, Henry and Lila (McConnell) Wolf. Ruth is the beloved and devoted wife of the late Ralph Silver. They were married on September 16, 1947. Ralph passed away on August 7, 2011. They were married for 63 years.
She is also the loving mother of two children, Mark Silver and Larry (Mary Lou) Silver. Proud grandmother to Gail Silver (Ryan Babcock) and Steve (Samantha) Silver; great-grandmother to Calvin and Quinn Silver.
Ruth was a devoted homemaker who loved gardening, sewing and cooking for her family. Her greatest joy was her time spent with her husband and her family. She was also a longtime member of Rosedale Gardens Presbyterian Church.
There will be a private family visitation to celebrate Ruth’s life followed by a private graveside service where she will be laid to rest at Lakeside Cemetery in Port Huron, Michigan alongside her beloved husband, Ralph.
