Rosalie Duty passed away at her home with her family beside her on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the age of 73. Rosalie was born in Northville, the daughter of Pietro and Rose ( nee Pellerito ) Lomonaco on July 24, 1941. She attended Plymouth schools and then continued her education at Schoolcraft College. Rosalie became a Registered Nurse working at St. Mary Mercy Hospital for over 27 years and then continuing her nursing career at Regency at Whitmore Lake for another 17 years. In 1961 she married James W. Duty and together they have shared a marriage of 54 years. Rosalie loved the music of Elvis Presley and going to Las Vegas. Crime shows and watching Judge Judy along with cooking were her other enjoyments she had. But foremost in her life was her husband and family. In addition to her husband, Rosalie is survived by her children, James Duty II, Y. Michael Duty, Larry ( Theresa ) Duty and Angela ( David ) Holmes. Nine grandchildren, Brittany, James, Elizabeth, Saverea, Bridgette, Amanda ( Adam ), Kyle, Shayna and Alyssa, and two great-grandchildren, Braden and Brantley and brother Pete ( Maureen ) Lomonaco also survive. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Sunday from 1 pm until 9 pm. A Scripture Service will be held at 7 pm. Visitation will continue on Monday from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road ( at Beck Road ) Plymouth. Contributions of Mass Cards to the church are suggested.
