Ronald Denomme

July 1, 1932 — September 27, 2015

Dear husband of Rosalind for 58 years. Lovingly remembered by his family; Tim, Denise, Renee, Lauren, Max, Jeanne, Kathy, Dennis, Sean, Angela, Emily, Tony, Ava, Anthony and his best chair buddy, Abby.Ron was born in Detroit, Michigan, graduated from St. Joseph High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and served with the 2nd Armored Calvary Regiment. He also served as a distinguished member of the Color Guard. Ron worked at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn beginning as a Detailer in 1955 and retired in 1986 from his position as Section Supervisor. Ron was an accomplished woodworker and loved making all sorts of projects in his shop in their mountain home in North Carolina. He was passionate about his rescue dogs, especially his loyal friend, Barney (who would not leave his side for a year). He also enjoyed gardening, backpacking, hiking and travelling (especially Europe). Ron was blessed with 25 years of great life following his liver transplant. He and his family hold sincere gratitude to his doctors: M. Krasman, R. Merion, D. Winston, H. Conjeevarem. His family also greatly appreciates Angela Hospice, the nursing staff and volunteers for their loving and compassionate care. Ron will always be remembered for his dedication, love, and integrity by his family. A visitation for Ronald will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, 2 until 8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main Street, Plymouth, 48170. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 N Haggerty Rd, Plymouth, Thursday at 10:30am. Friends may visit at church beginning at 10 am.
