Robert W. Wirth

Robert Wirth passed away at Annapolis Hospital in Wayne on March 8, 2013 at the age of 66. Bob was born in Detroit the son of Ernest and Germaine ( Starr ) Wirth on December 7, 1946. Bob served with the United States Army in Vietnam and then began working in sales for various transportation companies. For many years Bob also enjoyed working at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home in Plymouth. Putting model cars together was of special interest to him and keeping his own cars clean and spotless was of upmost importance. Bob is survived by his children Amy ( Dave ) Brown and James Wirth. Also surviving are his fiancee Yolanda Kertesz, brother Richard and nieces Susan Wirth and Shannon ( Rob Dahl ) Wirth. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Monday from 1 pm until 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be said at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 Haggerty Road, ( south of Five Mile ) Plymouth on Tuesday at 12 noon with Father Thomas Belczak officating. Friends may visit at church begining at 11:30 am. Interment will occur on Wednesday at 1:30 pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan where military honors will be rendered.
