Robert H. Richards

Robert H. Richards, age 90, of Canton passed away on February 22, 2023. 

He was born on April 4, 1932 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to his parents, Cleopatra (née Blackmer) and Lloyd Richards. 

He is the beloved and devoted husband of 70 years to Dorothy A. (née Gotts) Richards; loving father of three children – Polly (Richard) Bradburn, Paul (Michelle) Richards, and Terry Brady.  Proud grandfather of Emily A. (Will) Frable, Benjamin Bradburn, Samuel (Danielle) Richards, Alexandra Richards, Ryan (Lori) Bost, and Stacy Bost; great grandchildren,  Ryan Jr. and Abigail Bost,  Liam, Vivianne, Estelle, and Luella.  Bob is one of 9 children and is survived by his brother Gene Richards.

Bob truly loved and cherished spending time with his family. He was an avid euchre player who was hard to beat.  Bob and Dorothy enjoyed riding together for many years on his motorcycles.    He had an upbeat charismatic personality and was sure to put a smile on your face.  Bob was a selfless man whose impact will be forever felt by his family.  His passing has left an unfillable void in the hearts of his loved ones.  

Family and friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the Funeral Service at 4:00 P.M.
