Robert L. Knechtges

Passed away in Bradenton, Florida on November 26, 2013 at the age of 66. Bob was born in Detroit and graduated from Cody High School. Bob's occupation before his retirement was as an electrical technician. He had many varied interests including broadcasting as a HAM radio operator and participating in the sport of karate, in which he held a Black Belt. He was also a gifted " Mr.Fix It Man. " In 1967 he married his beloved " Toni " who survives him along with his children David Knechtges, Cheryl ( William ) Tarplay, granddaughter Chelsea Varney, sister Sally ( Tom ) Taylor and brother Bill ( Lee ) Knechtges. A Celebration of Bob's life will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 south Main Street, Plymouth on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 1 pm - 3 pm. Contributions are suggested to the Arthritis Foundation of Michigan.
