Robert D. Cuppetilli, Sr.

Robert D. Cuppetilli, Sr. age 81 of Canton passed away with his family at his bedside on April 19, 2019. Born in Detroit on March 3, 1938, to parents Dominic & Cora Cuppetilli. Beloved husband of 35 years to the late Norine. Loving father of Deann Cuppetilli, Robert (Lisa) Cuppetilli and Derek Cuppetilli. Proud Papa of seven grandsons, Nicholas, Gage, Gunner, Eric, Jake, Jagger and Nick. Brother of Vic (Dale) Cuppetilli and Beverly Rinke. Also survived by numerous nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews and 1 great, great nephew.

Being a veteran of the United States Army was something Robert held close to his heart. Robert spent most of his life working with his hands. He created numerous beautiful wood carvings but he especially was known for his handmade walking sticks. Robert lived the American dream as an owner of several Demolition Companies over the span of his life. Robert loved cooking for his family & friends, riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycles but most of all spending time with his family gave him the greatest joy in life. Robert touched thousands of lives in his 81 years, his memory will live within our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth on Wednesday, April 24th from 2:00pm-9:00pm with a Rosary serve at 7:00pm. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 25th at 11:00am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church 47650 North Territorial Rd, Plymouth with visitation beginning at 10:30am until time of mass. Private Entombment at Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia.
