Robert "Bob" Ramsay

Robert “Bob” Ramsay, age 89 of Plymouth passed away at his home on July 25, 2018.

He was born on March 11, 1929 in Detroit to his parents, David and Nancy (nee Raney) Ramsay. He is the beloved and devoted husband of the late Lucille Ramsay and the late Janet Witt; devoted father of Kathryn (the late Anthony) Villa, Mitchell Ramsay, Bob (Patsy) Ramsay and step-daughter Lisa Witt; proud grandfather of five and great-grandfather of ten, as well as the late Gary and Billy.

After he proudly served his country in the United States Army, Bob was employed by General Motors Corporation as a pipefitter for 32 years. He was a long-time member of the Newburg United Methodist Church in Livonia and was a very active volunteer in the congregation. He enjoyed playing golf, racquetball and gardening. Bob is deeply loved, and will be greatly missed by all whose life was touched by him.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Monday, July 30th from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 P.M.

Bob will be laid to rest at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
