Robert Anthony Fucinari, age 73 of Canton passed away on July 5, 2016. Robert was born in Dearborn, Michigan on February 5, 1943 to his parents, Tristan and Marietta (nee Marchelletta) Fucinari. He is the devoted father of two children, Anthony (Amy) Fucinari and Mia DeSantis; proud grandfather of Emmie Rose Fucinari, Kailey Sophia Fucinari, Devan Anthony Fucinari, Dominic DeSantis and Serenity Stokes; loving brother of Carlo Fucinari and Betty Fucinari. He is is deeply loved by his two surviving nephews, Mark Fucinari and Nicholas Fucinari. Robert will be greatly missed by his longtime friend, Joyce Zoline and her children, Mark Zoline and Jamie (Eric) Reoch and their son, Asher.
Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Viet Nam war. Robert loved his heritage. It was well-known by family, friends and anyone whose life he touched that he was forever proud to be Italian.
Friends may visit on Friday, July 8th from 2pm to 9pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth. There will be a rosary at 7pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 9th at 10:30am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial, Plymouth. Robert will lie in state from 10am until the time of the funeral Mass.
Memorials may be made in memory of Robert Anthony Fucinari to the family. The family will
then forward the memorials to charities of their choice.
