Rick Moreno, age 49 of Plymouth, passed away on October 20, 2017 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Beloved father of Mikayla, Melody, Macy and Morgan, their mother Christina Moreno also survives. Beloved son of Sharon Johnson and Ricardo (Pauline) Moreno. Dear brother of Jeff (Cynthia) Moreno, Christopher Moreno (Karen Peters) and Andrea Marie (Charles) Kneshtel. Proud uncle of Zachary Moreno, Jacob Moreno, Kayly Moreno ,Shane Moreno, Christian Kneshtel, Chaz Kneshtel and Anna Kneshtel. Also survived by his goddaughter Ashley Lasky and by Rick’s significant other Tracy Shuman and her daughter Ashley.
Rick Moreno serves as Senior Vice President of Innovation and Distribution at Little Caesars, one of the world’s most recognized pizza brands. Rick joined Little Caesars more than 30 years ago as an hourly crew member. Since then, he has gained a unique blend of cross-functional experience and served on the senior executive leadership team.
Rick has also served as the head of multiple divisions over the course of his career, including Research & Development, Real Estate, Construction, Architecture & Design, Information Technology, Retail Technology, Human Resources, Training and Strategic Planning. He led Blue Line Distribution Operations, Enterprise Technology, Architecture & Design, Equipment and Engineering Divisions.
Rick has a unique passion for innovation and cutting-edge technology. In his free time, he is dedicated to fitness and exercise and enjoys spending time with his daughters. Rick will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A scripture service will be celebrated on Saturday, October 28th at St. Kenneth Catholic Church 14951 Haggerty Rd, Plymouth with visitation beginning at 9:00am followed by a scripture service at 10:00am. A graveside service will held at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth at the conclusion of scripture service.
Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth on Thursday, 5:00pm-9:00pm and Friday from 1:00-9:00pm.
