Richard Lee Freeman

Richard Freeman passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the age of 72. Richard was born in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania on November 13, 1941 the son of Glenn H. and Esther R. ( nee Oakman ) Freeman. At an early age the family moved to Plymouth where Dick attended school and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1958. From 1963 until his retirement in 1988 He served as a State Police officer and held assignments at the White Pigeon, Flat Rock, Detroit, Yspilanti and Metropolitan Airport posts. Dick enjoyed fishing, playing computer games and going to casinos. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Sandy and their daughter Tina. Also surviving are his grandson Justin and great grandson Jaxon along with his siblings, Jim, Glenn, Jack and Bill. He was preceded in death by his sister Shirley and brother Robert. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home on Sunday, December 29, 2013, from 1 pm until 9 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 pm at the the funeral home with Reverend Drex Morton officiating.
