Richard F. Williams, age 86 of Plymouth passed away on February 28, 2022. He was born in Detroit on September 19, 1935 and raised by his step-father, the late Albert and his mother, Mary Reibitz.
He is the beloved and devoted husband of the late Barbara Williams; loving father of two sons, Timothy Williams and Gregory Williams and proud grandfather of Nicholas Williams. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews and brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, John Buzuvis (the late Betty) and Cindy, Dennis (Esther) Buzuvis and Debbie (Mark) Stevens.
Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Richard had a great appreciation of the outdoors. He loved boating and also loved to play a round of golf with family and friends. As an outdoorsman, (work and play) he certainly understood that nature doesn’t always provide sunshine and ideal weather conditions. He knew the same held true in life – it isn’t always about having a picture-perfect day of golf or boating. He understood it, embraced it and simply enjoyed everything the outdoors had to offer.
