Rebecca Jane Block

Rebecca Block of Plymouth, passed away August 7, 2016, at the age of 65. She was born in Flint, Michigan, on October 2, 1950. Rebecca is survived by her three beloved children Victoria (the late Robert) Mitchell, Cristina (Andy) Caruso, and Steven Schwertner, her two precious grandchildren Kaitlyn and Emily Mitchell, her dear siblings Joseph Hasman and Kathy (Dennis) Ijames, and her BFF Mr. Elvis, her cat. Rebecca was preceded in death by her first husband William Schwertner in 1978, and her second husband Richard Block in 1985.

Rebecca was a fighter, battling and beating cancer multiple times, and surviving a heart attack. She was a faith filled woman who loved spending time sewing. Rebecca also had a passion for ancestry. She was also a member of the Red Hatter Society.

Private family services have been entrusted to the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home. She will be interred at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery.
